Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing ground-up commercial, mission critical, or data center projects valued at $20M , with a strong background overseeing electrical scopes, project financials, client relationships, and field execution.
This role requires a proven leader capable of managing multiple complex electrical construction projects while driving safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover and closeout.
- Lead projects with electrical contract values of $20M .
- Oversee all phases of project execution including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, change orders, and cost control.
- Coordinate closely with field leadership, superintendents, estimators, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Review project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and electrical design documents to ensure successful execution.
- Maintain project schedules utilizing Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70, OSHA, and all applicable codes and safety standards.
- Manage project financial performance including forecasting, billing, change management, and contract administration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Lead project teams while mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office to manage project documentation and communication.
Required Experience
- Minimum 8-10 years of Project Management experience within an electrical contracting environment.
- Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial electrical construction projects with electrical values exceeding $20M.
- Experience managing one or more of the following project types:
- Data Centers
- Mission Critical Facilities
- Large Commercial Office
- Healthcare
- Higher Education
- Hospitality
- Manufacturing
- Extensive experience managing electrical scopes from project award through closeout.
- Strong knowledge of project financials including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and change order management.
- Experience coordinating with owners, general contractors, architects, consultants, and engineering teams.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and project teams.
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and electrical construction best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data Center or Mission Critical construction experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with design-build delivery methods.
- Experience working for a self-performing electrical contractor.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Pay: $165,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
