A well-established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation to join its litigation team in Venice, California. This is an onsite position offering meaningful responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands
- Propound and respond to written discovery; draft meet-and-confer correspondence
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, and case management conferences
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Assist with trial preparation and serve as first or second chair when appropriate
- Conduct legal research and case strategy analysis
Qualifications
- Active and good standing admission to the California State Bar
- 2–6 years of civil litigation experience (At least 2 year of plaintiff personal injury experience preferred)
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases and meet deadlines
- Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
