Our client, one of the most prestigious managers of New York City real estate, is seeking a Controller. This individual will supervise the property accounting department and oversee the generation of financial reports with an emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 2-3 Senior Property Accountants as well as AP/AR Supervisor
- Integrate newly acquired properties into accounting systems
- Evaluate all property budgets for financial viability
- Audit workpapers for absolute accuracy and completeness
- Sign off on all department financial statements
- Build complex financial models for executive review
- Execute critical, ad-hoc projects for senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of building and managing teams
- Ability to collaborate across property management and executive levels
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
Salary : $175,000 - $200,000
