Summary
The Director of Clinical Operations reports to the Vice President of Clinical Operations and is responsible for leading, optimizing, and scaling Genuine Health’s clinical programs and workflows. This role ensures the efficient implementation, performance, and continuous improvement of care delivery models—including Chronic Care Management (CCM), Transitional Care Management (TCM), and other population health initiatives.
The Director oversees day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who combines operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for improving patient care and provider engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of clinical programs to meet departmental KPIs and organizational goals.
- Lead the Clinical Operations team to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery and excellent member and provider experience.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and workflows that drive efficiency, compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Partner with the VP of Clinical Operations to launch and optimize clinical programs.
- Manage and refine system platforms and workflows for both clinical and non-clinical teams to improve productivity and data visibility.
- Establish productivity benchmarks and performance dashboards to monitor progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with VP of Clinical Operations to determine RN visit frequency, efficiency standards, and quality metrics.
- Prepare and present operational reports and performance dashboards to leadership on a recurring basis.
- Participate in organizational planning, goal-setting, and budget management to align clinical operations with strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Quality, IT, Finance) to ensure coordinated care and program success.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and payer program requirements, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure providers and partners are informed and engaged on clinical program updates, workflows, and benefits.
- Partner with the Quality Department to leverage care management and patient touchpoints for closing gaps in care and improving quality metrics.
- Oversee management of department expenses, ensuring adherence to operational budgets.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Clinical Operations team.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN license with multistate registration.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare management; 10 years preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading clinical operations in an ACO, MSO, or value-based care environment.
