Genuine Ginger is a boutique social media agency that provides organic social media strategy and creates original content for brands who keep it real. The majority of our clients are conscious consumer packaged goods – food and beverage brands you might buy at Whole Foods Market or Sprouts! We have so many snacks at the office and are often going on little walks or mini adventures to capture our fun, engaging content!

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media Creator who knows their way around a camera — and the kitchen! You’ll shoot and edit videos, make loads of food and drinks, and jump in front of the lens often. With 3-4 days in our studio space, remotely 1- 2 days a week, this is perfect for someone who’s chill, organized, efficient, and okay with getting their hands dirty. Ideally you live in South Orange County!

Day to Day

·      Prep

• Contribute creative ideas based on trends
• Review shot lists and clarify questions with social media specialists
• Organize shooting calendar based on priorities and time management
• Order groceries and confirm we have client product and new props as needed
• Plan your days to maximize efficiency and natural lighting

·      Content Creation

• Create content to match each brand’s unique aesthetic and brand guidelines
• Shoot photos and videos on DSLR and iphone, mostly in natural light
• Design social media graphics in Canva or Photoshop
• Style elevated photos and videos with balance and attention to color and texture
• Prepare recipes for food and beverage content on video or for photos
• Act or model casually in content. This mainly consists of mouthing audios, taking happy bites, and more based on your vibe!
• Clean up after shoots daily including keeping props, backgrounds, and photo equipment clean and organized

·      Editing

o  Edit photos and videos efficiently with attention to detail

o  Have an eye for shifting between different aesthetics and brand guidelines
