Gentry Public Schools is seeking a high-energy, motivated volleyball coach to continue moving our program forward and help take it to the next level. We’re coming off an improved season with a committed group of athletes and strong support across the district. With major facility enhancements underway—including the construction of our new Pioneer Arena that will expand practice and scheduling options—this is an exciting opportunity for a coach who’s ready to build momentum, establish a winning culture, and make a lasting impact. Position Overview:
This position is based in Gentry Public Schools and involves visits to athletic facilities, classrooms, and school campuses, requiring attendance at practices, games, and extracurricular events. This is a chance to contribute to both students’ academic success and their overall development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach the Volleyball team, fostering a positive team environment focused on skill development and sportsmanship.
- Plan and execute all aspects of the Volleyball program, including practices, games, and team management.
- Mentor assistant coaches and maintain strong relationships with athletes, parents, staff, and the community.

Physical and Mental Demands:
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to provide physical assistance to students in emergency situations, including evacuations or lockdowns.
- Prolonged standing, walking, sitting, occasional reaching above the head or shoulders, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
