Gentry Civil Corp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to oversee daily operations on our civil construction projects. This role is responsible for managing field crews, coordinating equipment and materials, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day field operations on assigned projects
- Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies
- Communicate clearly with project management, inspectors, and clients
- Track daily production, progress, and site conditions
- Identify issues, propose solutions, and support efficient project execution
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in civil construction (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and site layouts
- Knowledge of excavation, utilities, dirt work, grading, and heavy equipment operations
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
