Job Summary
Gentry Civil Corp is seeking an experienced and dependable Pipelayer Foreman to lead underground utility crews on civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of pipelaying experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to read plans, set grade, and ensure crews work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a pipelaying crew on daily tasks
- Install water, sewer, and storm drain systems according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes
- Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with superintendents, operators, and laborers
- Maintain productivity, workflow, and high-quality workmanship
- Train and support crew members as needed
- Operate equipment as required to support daily operations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of pipelaying experience
- Prior leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong understanding of civil construction and underground utilities
- Ability to set grade and use laser/GPS tools
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
