Gentry Civil Corp is seeking an experienced Pipelayer Foreman to lead pipe crews and oversee the installation of underground utilities on civil construction projects. This role is responsible for directing daily tasks, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and keeping production on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage pipelayer crew in daily operations
- Install sewer, water, storm drain, and related utilities according to plans and specifications
- Set grade, read blueprints, and operate laser levels
- Coordinate with the superintendent, project managers, and inspectors
- Ensure jobsite safety and enforce company safety policies
- Monitor production, resolve onsite issues, and ensure high-quality work
- Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate progress
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in underground utility or civil construction
- Prior crew lead or foreman experience preferred
- Strong understanding of pipe installation, trenching, shoring, and compaction
- Ability to read plans, set grade, and use pipe lasers
- Reliable, strong work ethic, and good communication skills
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
