Job Summary
Gentry Civil Corp is seeking a skilled and hardworking Pipelayer to join our underground utilities team. This position is responsible for installing water, sewer, and storm drain systems while supporting efficient and safe jobsite operations. We’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a crew.
Responsibilities
- Install underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm drain
- Assist in setting grade using lasers or grade stakes
- Lay pipe according to specifications and ensure proper alignment
- Cut, measure, and prepare materials
- Work closely with operators, foremen, and laborers
- Follow all jobsite safety standards and company procedures
- Perform general labor and trench work as needed
Requirements
- Previous pipelaying or underground utility experience preferred
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
- Understanding of trench safety and construction practices
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
