Gentry Chevrolet in Smithville, MO is looking for a dependable, motivated Lube Technician to join our growing Service Department. If you enjoy working on vehicles, take pride in quality work and want to build your automotive career, we would like to hear from you. Previous automotive experience is helpful, but we‘re willing to consider someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Check and top off vehicle fluids
- Inspect tires, filters, lights, wiper blades, and other basic maintenance items
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance as assigned
- Identify and communicate maintenance needs to the service team
- Safely operate vehicle lifts, tools, and shop equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Take proper care of customer vehicles while they are being serviced
- Assist other members of the Service Department as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Dependable and ready to work
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in automotive service
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Previous automotive, dealership, or quick-lube experience is a plus, but not required
