Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling to meet each dog’s specific needs and breed standards
- Assess each dog’s health and temperament to ensure safe handling and grooming procedures
- Use animal restraint techniques effectively to keep pets calm and secure during grooming sessions
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming preferences and aftercare instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by sanitizing tools, grooming stations, and bathing areas regularly
- Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring gentle yet firm control to prevent stress or injury
- Support pet care activities such as feeding, walking, or administering basic veterinary-related tasks when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, Dog grooming at least 6 clips per day. At a professional level
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs of various temperaments and sizes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or equipment setup
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail and safety standards
