Your expertise in dental terminology, medical billing, and office management systems will drive operational excellence and enhance patient satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients warmly, manage check-in and check-out processes, and ensure accurate patient information collectionSchedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software (experience with Open Dental software is preferred)Assist with insurance verification processes and coordinate with insurance providers to facilitate patient care plansReview medical records, documentation, and care plansMaintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally.Collect payments and explain treatment plans when needed.Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required.ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting.Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes.Proficiency with dental scheduling software (Open Dental preferred).Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.Demonstrated ability to handle medical administrative support tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in documentation review and health information managementExcellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and bilingual abilities are a plusPrior clinic experience involving insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and medical records management is highly desirableProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with strong computer skills for managing health information systemsJoin us to make a difference in patients’ lives through outstanding service!
