We are a growing dental practice seeking an experienced Lead Front Desk / Treatment Plan Coordinator who can help manage the front office while supporting the doctor and team with treatment plan presentation and patient coordination.
This role has strong growth potential into an Office Manager position for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, confident speaking with patients about treatment and finances, and capable of leading the front desk team.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily front desk operations
- Greet patients and provide an excellent patient experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients
- Verify insurance and explain coverage
- Coordinate patient treatment and follow-ups
- Manage patient accounts and collections
- Support the doctor with case acceptance
- Help train and guide front desk team members
- Maintain smooth communication between clinical and administrative teams
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental office setting or healthcare environment with strong familiarity in dental terminology and medical coding practices
- Minimum 2 years dental front desk experience
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing finances
- Strong understanding of dental insurance
- Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Leadership mindset and ability to take initiative
