Travel Requirement
This position supports multiple offices throughout the Las Vegas market. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business travel between locations.
What You'll Do
- Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready for patient care
- Take diagnostic records, including impressions, photographs, and radiographs as permitted by state regulations
- Provide exceptional patient care and education throughout treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Support a positive patient experience by creating a welcoming and professional environment
- Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient office operations
- Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting Program
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
The following qualifications may increase starting pay:
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification
- X-Ray Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential, where applicable
