Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse located in Greenville, NC. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care for hospice patients, assisting in pain management, administering medications, performing health assessments, and developing care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. They will offer emotional and educational support to patients and their families while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The role also involves coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure a patient-focused and holistic approach to end-of-life care.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning
- Ability to provide compassionate emotional support and education to patients and families
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and coordinating care
- Working knowledge of hospice care standards and regulations
- Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for home visits
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills
- Experience in hospice or palliative care is a plus
