Duties and Responsibilities
Development and Configuration
Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
Configure and maintain Workday business processes, calculated fields, custom validations, and condition rules
Develop, maintain, and enhance custom Workday reports
Troubleshoot and resolve system, configuration, and integration issues
Integration Management
Create and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party systems (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, etc.)
Monitor scheduled integrations and resolve failures or data inconsistencies
Document integration designs, configurations, and data flow processes
Optimize existing integrations for improved performance and reliability
Reporting and Analytics
Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to support operational, compliance, and business needs
Collaborate with users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
Automate report scheduling and distribution for end users
Support and Collaboration
Provide technical support to agency and end users
Maintain system documentation including design specifications, workflows, and configuration guides
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to align Workday functionality with business requirements
Participate in change control and configuration management processes
Gather and document business requirements for break/fix and enhancement requests
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution
At least two (2) years of experience supporting or administering enterprise systems such as Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, web services, and reporting tools
Additional relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of four (4) years
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent business process fluency, with the ability to discuss processes in sufficient detail to identify underlying issues or opportunities
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and build strong professional relationships
Proven experience supporting HCM, Payroll, and Financial systems
Demonstrated ability to maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary data
Hands-on Workday experience, including implementation or post-production support
Experience serving as a primary technical resource in a Workday environment
Workday certification or equivalent practical experience
Security Requirements
Selected candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive background check
Security badges must be worn at all times when onsite
Employment is contingent upon passing a law enforcement–level security background investigation
