Summary
We are looking for a Guest Experience Coordinator to act as the first and final point of contact for clients at GENT. More than a receptionist, this role is a hospitality position focused on creating a warm, seamless, and personalized experience for every guest. You’ll greet clients, offer beverages, manage appointments, and ensure smooth communication with our stylists and barbers.
To succeed in this role, you should be highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to create a calm, professional environment even during peak times. Ultimately, you will help strengthen our reputation by building trusting, genuine connections with clients and supporting the flow of the shop.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism
- Book, confirm, and adjust appointments via phone, in person, and Zenoti
- Proactively update clients about scheduling changes or delays with empathy and clarity
- Offer beverages and create a welcoming, comfortable environment for waiting guests
- Educate guests on services, add-ons, and promotions in a consultative (not pushy) way
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using Zenoti
- Maintain a tidy, guest-ready reception area and assist with daily laundry, hot towels, and restocks
- Support retail by sharing product information and ensuring front displays are organized
- Occasionally travel to other GENT shops as needed (primary location will be consistent)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or salon environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to remain calm, positive, and solutions-focused in stressful moments
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Able to stand or sit for multiple hours at a time
Schedule needed:
Saturdays: 2:00 pm-8:15 pm
Sundays: 9:15 am-6:15 pm
Mondays: 11:00am-5:00 pm
Wednesdays: 11:00 am-5:00 pm
Schedule changes will be based on salon needs
Hours every week: 25 hours
