What You Will Do
- You will be an integral part of our teams and actively foster a respectful, creative, and inspiring design environment
- Support interior design assignments that include interpreting client’s needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
- Generate design with 3D models, Revit, Sketchup or other software, create digital 3D view to communicate design concepts
- Generate interior finishes and reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
- Support coordination with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited program
- 0-3 years of relevant experience within a commercial design firm
- 0-3 years of experience designing and delivering projects is preferred/required
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
- Proficiency in Revit
- Passion for design excellence and continuous learning
- LEED accreditation or WELL AP is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices
- The estimated base salary range for this position in the Washington, D.C. is $65,000- $75,000, plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation is contingent on location and relevant skills, qualifications and experience.
