Gensinger Fire Protection LLC is a full-service fire sprinkler contractor serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester County. We are a licensed, certified, and insured company providing design, engineering, installation, alterations, maintenance, retrofits, testing, inspections, and 24-hour emergency service.
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in a skilled trade. No prior experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems
- Support experienced mechanics on job sites
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Travel to job sites throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester County
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Mechanically inclined (preferred, not required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license preferred
