What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at GenServ?
The role of Superintendent at GenServ is to oversee the operations of a construction project, from planning to close-out. The Superintendent is responsible to provide all on-site coordination, scheduling, supervision, safety and compliance to ensure successful completion on schedule and within budget.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 30 preferred but will certify, if necessary, upon hire
- Construction Supervisors License (Required)
- Experience of 3 -5 years
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, schedules, and other construction documents
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Superintendent that can provide our clients with the best solution to their needs, whether it be for a complete renovation of a residential or commercial space, or a more minor project. This candidate will have the ability to provide complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations. This candidate must have strong people management skills required to ensure project success, including time constraints to meet construction deadlines. They must act as the main GenServ field point of contact to the client, the client representatives, project staff, subcontractors and engineers.
