What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at Genpsych?
As a Quality Assurance Specialist for GenPsych, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing and managing the organization's quality assurance program for the community served. Candidate can work from either GenPsych Brick or Avenel locations.
Job Functions and Duties:
- Reports evaluation/assessment findings and prepares recommendations for approval by Site Directors and senior management.
- Carry out quality assurance oversight activities defined in the corporate quality assurance plan
- Conduct regular and systematic review of comprehensive assessments, progress notes, treatment plans and treatment plan reviews to ensure timeliness and quality;
- Monitor programs and services to ensure desired changes are implemented, objectives are achieved and program changes are maintained.
- Evaluates programs and services to determine compliance with accreditation and/or regulatory standards.
- Designs research and program evaluation projects and establish methods for data collection.
- Analyzes statistical data collected from studies and presents completed data to site directors and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
- Understanding of data methodology and QA functions within it
- Fluency in more than one language a plus
- Development and monitoring of treatment plans pertaining to programs and services for persons with mental health and addiction issues.
- A strong understanding of research processes, including methodology, tools and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications especially excel and Power BI
