This is a hybrid internship role based in Los Angeles, CA, with the flexibility of some remote work. The Frontend Intern will work closely with the development team to build and enhance user-facing features for GenPark’s platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing intuitive web interfaces, implementing responsive designs, debugging, refining UI/UX elements, and collaborating with team members during the design and development process. The intern will also adhere to best practices and coding standards while learning about cutting-edge AI-powered retail experiences.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
