Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial planning, accounting, management, and reporting functions. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll management, and cost control initiatives.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, investment strategies, and risk analysis to safeguard assets.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements
- Direct financial planning activities including budgeting, financial projection model development, variance analysis, and strategic planning processes.
- Lead mergers & acquisitions efforts by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and negotiation support to facilitate business development initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments related to financial operations; implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to organizational stability.
Skills
- Extensive experience with financial analysis, reporting interpretation, and strategic planning within complex organizations.
- Deep knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and COSO frameworks for internal controls.
- Proven expertise in corporate finance including treasury management, revenue cycle management, expense management, and cost control strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams; ability to inspire high performance through effective supervision and mentorship.
- Proficiency in financial software systems; familiarity with advanced Excel modeling techniques; experience with financial modeling tools for forecasting analysis.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to develop innovative business strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations affecting governmental accounting or non-profit accounting is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze market trends through market analysis techniques; develop insights that inform strategic decision-making processes.
- Skilled in risk analysis techniques; capable of implementing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies across multiple business units.
- Exceptional communication skills for preparing detailed financial reports and presenting complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
