Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Landscaper to join our small team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming landscapes through skilled planting, property maintenance, and lawn mowing. Duties
- Perform landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs and bushes, edging beds, applying mulch and spring/fall cleanups
- Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, saws) safely and efficiently to complete daily tasks
- Use machinery such as lawn mowers
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards while delivering high-quality results
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping with a strong understanding of lawn care and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus but not required
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools and lawn equipment
- Knowledge of gardening practices including planting, pruning, and grass health
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a creative eye for landscape aesthetics
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
