What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist position at GENNTE Technologies?
Summary:
Under the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The CT Technologist can perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates CT equipment, prepares and administers contrast media, performs Intravenous contrast injections, operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications. The CT Technologist is responsible for the quality control and enforcement of facility Core Values, ARRT
Standards of Ethics, and the policies and procedures of the designated area.
The CT Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of facility and the Radiology Department.
Minimum:
Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).
Approved CPR certification.
ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire
Desired:
Current Radiographic contrast media and venapuncture certification.
Current license issued by ARRT.
Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California.
Advanced certification in CT.
Two years experience in diagnostic x-ray.
One year experience in CT.
Salary : $104,000 - $141,000
