Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of participating in end-to-end SAP Public Cloud implementation projects, with strong expertise across Finance and Controlling processes.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design, configure, test, and implement SAP FICO solutions aligned with business requirements and SAP Public Cloud best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects.
- Lead or support SAP FICO functional activities across requirements gathering, fit-to-standard workshops, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Configure and support core SAP Finance processes including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Tax
- Financial Closing
- Configure and support Controlling processes including:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Product Costing
- Profitability Analysis
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard / Fit-to-Gap workshops and recommend solutions based on SAP Public Cloud standard functionality.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for required extensions/integrations.
- Support data migration, integration testing, unit testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Work with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, SCM, EWM, and technical teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, process flows, and training materials.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud best practices and clean-core principles.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
- Proven experience in SAP FICO with strong Finance and Controlling knowledge.
- Experience with end-to-end SAP Public Cloud implementation lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of SAP Public Cloud configuration and standard business processes.
- Experience conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops.
- Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Tax, Closing, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, and related FICO processes.
- Experience with SAP FICO integration with other SAP modules.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and lead functional discussions.
- Experience working in Agile/SAP Activate implementation methodologies is highly preferred.
- Strong documentation and testing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).
- Knowledge of SAP Public Cloud extensibility and integration concepts.
- Experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite is a plus.
- Experience working in large-scale transformation programs.
