Weekly Gross Pay: $2,622.00
Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,278.00
Nontaxable Weekly: $1,344.00
2 years RN NEONATAL ICU- REQUIRED
Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced RN NEONATAL ICU to fill an opening place located in Voorhees, NJ for $72.83/hr. (taxed non-taxed).
Requirements of the RN NEONATAL ICU:
- You must have a valid NJ State License or Compact license.
- Must have AHA BLS, NRP
- must have 2 years’ experience as an RN NEONATAL ICU.

Responsibilities of the RN NEONATAL ICU:
- Shift: 12-hour Nights
- Shift Details: 7.00 PM to 7.00 AM
- 36 hours/week (3*12)
- 13-week assignment
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing ventilators.
- Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans aligned with clinical protocols and family needs.
- Utilize advanced skills such as neonatal ventilator management, IV infusion therapy, and aseptic technique to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers to coordinate complex care strategies.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate families on neonatal care procedures, discharge planning, and ongoing health management to promote family-centered care.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations utilizing advanced life support skills and trauma medicine principles in Level I or Level II trauma center environments.
Requirements
- Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice; previous experience working in neonatal or pediatric critical care units preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in ICU or NICU settings with familiarity in ICU experience and hospital medicine protocols.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical documentation standards essential.
- Strong understanding of physiology knowledge relevant to neonates, including anatomy knowledge and diagnostic evaluation skills.
- Experience with specialized procedures such as tube feeding, suturing, catheterization, phlebotomy, and sterile processing techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments requiring acute pain management and infection control measures.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); additional certifications like Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are advantageous.
