Key Responsibilities
Deliver Genie Academy's Proprietary Curriculum
- Teach classes using our pre-developed projects and lesson plans via our in-house IDE.
- Adapt instruction to varying age groups and skill levels while following curriculum standards.
- Facilitate coding lessons and discussions, encouraging curiosity and teamwork.
- Maintain a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that fosters creativity and confidence.
- Use our IDE's tools to monitor student performance on assigned projects.
- Provide regular feedback and progress updates to students and parents/guardians.
- Communicate classroom insights to help refine the curriculum and IDE features.
- Stay updated on industry trends in coding and educational best practices.

- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or current enrollment) in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching or tutoring experience (in-person or online) is a plus.
- Proficiency in any coding Language and ability to quickly master Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
- Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex coding concepts.
- Ability to follow and effectively deliver a structured, pre-developed curriculum.
- Passion for working with students and helping them achieve success.
- Familiarity with topgrading principles (continuous improvement and transparent performance metrics) is an advantage.
