We have a rare opening for a Used Car Manager at Gengras CDJR in East Hartford!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the dealership's used vehicle inventory.
- Source, appraise, and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles
- Ensure competitive pricing and effective merchandising of used vehicle inventory.
- Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to maximize gross profit and vehicle sales.
- Monitor inventory aging and implement strategies to maintain healthy inventory turn.
- Oversee vehicle reconditioning processes to ensure timely frontline readiness.
- Track and analyze department performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
- Maintain compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous Automotive Sales Management experience required.
- Previous Used Car Management experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of vAuto required.
- CDK experience is a plus.
- CDJR dealership experience is a plus but not required.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability goals.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment.
