Established in 1998, Genghis Grill is an interactive Mongolian Stir Fry fast-casual restaurant. Customers create their own meals by choosing their own proteins, vegetables, spices, sauces, and side options. The customer then passes their food over to be cooked on a huge round open grill.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COOK / GRILLMASTER
As a Cook / Grillmaster, you are responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers. To keep the kitchen running smoothly, you communicate ticket times and potential problems to the servers and the manager on duty as well as provide the highest quality of customer service. You follow recipes for preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items quickly to specifications.
In order to ensure and maintain a clean kitchen, you clean and sanitize workstations and equipment. You practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices, complying with all HACCP standards. This includes stocking, dating, rotating, and checking the temperatures of food products. You feel good seeing our customers enjoy your food. And your cooking keeps them coming back for more!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COOK / GRILLMASTER
- At least 18 years old
- Experience with cooking techniques and equipment
- Knowledge about sanitation and safety procedures
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Weekend availability a must

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A COOK / GRILLMASTER
For this restaurant position, there are lunch and dinner shifts available. An example lunch shift would be 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and a dinner shift, 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
