Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Production Data Analytics team at PEAK Genetics. You will play a pivotal role in creating, maintaining and supporting data management tools, reports and dashboards that are critical to communicating findings within our bull production facilities. You will help to identify trends and patterns in large, complex data sets and your work will have a high level of stakeholder visibility.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate data models, standard reporting templates, dashboards, and scorecards
- Utilize databases to build key performance metrics for routine surveillance of production by location
- Assist leadership in reporting key metrics on demand
- Be proactive in identification of variances or oddities within the key metrics and follow up with key stakeholders
- Work with key stakeholders to understand functional requirements and project priority
- Serve as backup to the Database Specialist and Data Advisor (sensitive data entry and administrative tasks)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Finance, or Business
- Familiarity with animal agriculture or the livestock industry highly preferred (personal or professional)
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or related data visualization software
- Knowledge of database design, data warehousing principles, and the ability to work with large complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy is critical
- Professional with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated and able to influence others
- Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively
