Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Refrigeration Technician based in Lake Geneva, WI. The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting system inspections, testing equipment, and ensuring its proper functionality. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with team members to address client needs efficiently.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of refrigeration systems and related equipment.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting equipment issues to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical problems.
- Strong understanding of electricity and electrical components associated with refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Experience with HVAC systems and principles, including installation, repair, and maintenance processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to address various challenges.
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- EPA Section 608 Certification or similar HVAC-related certification is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
