Position Summary: Responsible for prepping equipment to paint and painting vehicles such as mixer trucks, dump truck, trailers, and other vehicles.
Duties:
- Preparing vehicles for painting
- Painting mixers trucks, dump trucks, trailers, and other vehicles as required.
- Ensure a safe and healthful work environment by keeping assigned area clean from trash and debris at all times.
- Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Sitting: 10% of time.
- Standing: 60% - 70% of the time.
- Weight Lifted: Must frequently be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Heavy items may be required to be lift above one’s head and maneuvered while sitting, kneeling and laying down. For safety, assistance will be provided for heavy objects.
- Climbing: 20% - 30% of the time. This includes shop ladders, equipment access ladders, and climbing under equipment.
- Physical Movement: May frequently be required to walk and work over uneven ground, balance, stoop/crouch, kneel, grab, drag, climb and hold objects.
- Speaking / Listening: Needs to be able to communicate effectively with supervision, follow instructions, and understand safety requirements.
- Working Conditions: 100% of time will be spent working in the shop.
