Geneva Lake Manor is a 60 bed facility for both long-term and rehabilitation. We have an opening for an Activity Assistant. If you are compassionate about caring for the elderly, you want to make a difference in someone's life, then you are exactly the person we're looking to hire.
As an Activities Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Director of Activities, and responsible to meet the social, spiritual and therapeutic needs of the residents through activities, programming and continued interaction with community groups.

Qualifications:
- Sixteen years of age (min)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly
- Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- Knowledgeable with planning, developing and implementing resident crafts
- Well-developed organizations skills
- Valid WI Drivers License
Essential Functions of the position and department expectations:
- Facilitates daily events and programming to meet the needs to the residents.
- Performs one on one interaction to enhance quality of life.
- Implements Plan of Care.
- Enable residents to maximize their potential in activity participation through adaption, clues/prompts and grading.
- Documents progress notes into Matrix.
- Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.
