What are the responsibilities and job description for the Env Svc Supervisor position at Geneva General Hospital?
In accordance to established policies and procedures, supervises the daily operations of the department. Provides supervision and on-going training to employees assigned to work in the Housekeeping and Linen Departments.
Requirements:
EDUCATION: Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent required. Preferred: A.A.S. degree in appropriate field LICENSE: Minimum: Valid NYS driver's license consistent with FLH Motor Vehicle Policy PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: IEHA Associate membership or equivalent WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum: Two years as a Housekeeping Aide or one year as Housekeeping Team Leader. Preferred: Prior supervisory experience SKILLS: Minimum: Demonstrated leadership abilities. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point.
