What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Maintenance Worker position at Geneva BID?
The Maintenance team is responsible for keeping downtown public spaces within the 18.5 acre (downtown district and lakefront) clean, safe, and attractive for property and business owners, residents, and visitors.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Keep landscaping beds and bioswales clean and free of weeds, grass and debris
Keep public parking lots and alleyways clean
Sweep the alleyways, sidewalks and streets as needed
Pick up loose trash & debris
Water the flowers
Empty trash receptacles
Clean and maintain public seating areas
Assist with planting projects
Help with events as needed
Perform miscellaneous tasks necessary to meet the maintenance and appearance of goals of the downtown district as requested by the BID Executive Director and Maintenance Supervisor.
The successful candidate will have a valid NYS Driver's license.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
