Primary Function
The Quality Inspector is responsible for following Genesys Industries procedures to conduct the first article, in-process and final inspection on produced or procured mechanical and machined parts to ensure parts are defect-free. Report directly to General Manager. Use of all hand-held metrology equipment (Plug gages, Ring gages, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.) a must. Maintain all quality records in ERP System, operating automated equipment a Keyence Vision system is a plus. But willing to train.
Responsibilities And Duties
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, stand, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel parts. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with appropriate assistance. Must be able to be on feet (not sitting) up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
- Perform first article, in-process & final inspection on parts utilizing inspection equipment.
- Use knowledge of GD&T, QA methods & standards, inspection procedures & QA work instructions
- Update and maintain inspection documents.
- Ensure quality lab has calibrated inspection equipment.
- Support, understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Provide quality inspection of parts received from outside vendors.
- Work weekdays Monday thru Friday 8AM-5PM
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Inspection
- Experience using measurement instruments: comparators, calipers, micrometers etc.
- Must have good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good arithmetic skills
- Prefer working knowledge of industry standards AS9100, ISO13485 &/or ISO900
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in quality lab.
