What the Radiation Therapist Role will Offer:
As a Radiation Therapist, you are responsible for delivering efficient, effective, and high-quality radiation treatment within a clinical setting, providing the highest quality of care to our patients and doing your #lifesbestwork.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Practice
- Undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant center and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Patient Care
- Ensure established patient care standards are maintained.
- Treat all patients and their caregivers with respect and equality.
- Maintain confidentiality on all issues.
- Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
Teamwork and Communication
- Participate as an active and effective member of a team.
- Partner collaboratively with colleagues.
- Participate in team meetings and activities.
What you Bring to the Role (Qualifications):
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and eligible for applicable state licenses
- Strong empathy, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated technical competency in all areas of radiation therapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work in an effective team environment
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy, radiation therapy physics, and radiation biology and health physics, along with associated allied healthcare services
