Telephony Engineer

Genesis10 is seeking a Telephony Engineer for a contract to hire position with our client located in Fort Worth, TX. This position requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in the Forth Worth Office.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting & Support: work closely with the service desk team to handle voice/telephony related issues; contact center issues, phone issues, moving phone numbers
• Onboarding of new hires; setting up phone, putting them in correct active directory group
• Telephony related offboarding of resources
• Participate in migration projects as needed
• The company is currently 75% moved over to Zoom for phone and contact center, 6 global business units are scheduled to be migrated within the next year.
• Approximately 2K users to support, 1100 on zoom phone and 600 on zoom contact center

Required Skills:

• 5-6 yrs of telephony experience
• First Preference for someone who has experience with Zoom phone & contact center
• Second Preference is for someone who has prior experience with Avaya, Cisco VOIP, or Mitel (with contact center)
• Experience with end user set up & configuration, building voicemail boxes, building call queues and configuring 800 number call flows
• Excellent customer service approach, ability to work directly with users including senior management for telephony related troubleshooting
