Responsibilities:
- Design, build, configure, and maintain core development platforms, with a primary focus on administering and optimizing Jira for project management, workflow automation, and reporting
- Develop, test, and maintain robust Ansible Playbooks for automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments across development, staging, and production environments
- Integrate and administer code quality tools, specifically SonarQube, into the CI pipeline to enforce quality standards and track technical debt across all application codebases
- Assist in managing and maintaining infrastructure and services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all platform configurations, automation scripts, and deployment procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the end-to-end build-out, configuration, and administration of Jira for a medium-to-large organization, including advanced workflow customization, scheme management, and integration with other tools
- Strong, hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying complex Ansible Playbooks for configuration management and orchestration
- Direct experience integrating and administering SonarQube (or similar quality scanning tools) within CI workflows
- Foundational knowledge and practical experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Desired skills:
- CI/CD Environment Build experience
- Prior experience in designing and implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment pipelines and environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Expertise with advanced features of Ansible (e.g., roles, handlers, templating)
- Experience with advanced reporting and custom dashboards in Jira
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
