Instructional Designer Senior - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Instructional Designer Senior for an onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a 3 month contract opportunity.

Seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the Enterprise Supply Chain Learning and Development team. The primary responsibility will be to develop engaging training that helps achieve business goals and meet key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design courses for web-based and instructor-led training
• Design learning materials based on defined learning outcomes
• Formulate knowledge checks and theory assessments to evaluate effective knowledge transfer
• Create supporting materials such as videos to reinforce training
• Assess audience learning needs and knowledge gaps
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture training requirements and develop course content

Requirements:

• Minimum five-year instructional design experience
• Familiarity with ADDIE and Blooms Taxonomy methodology
• Must provide two samples of work from an Instructional Design portfolio
• Expertise using Articulate 360 software suite of products to create web-based training, including Rise and Storyline
• Experience drafting content and developing graphics and videos per SME feedback
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of adult learning theory
• Ability to adapt by using the client's training framework and approach
• Project management and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Self-motivated team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Desired skills:

• Experience working with Camtasia software
• Familiarity with procurement, supply chain, or risk management

Pay range: $56.00 - $66.00 per hour
