Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
- Work closely with partners in Infosec, Infrastructure and Operations and establish data & system integration best practices
- Identify, manage and remediate IT risk and tech debt
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military, or education
- 8 years of hands-on experience as a Data Architect , working on innovative, scalable, data-heavy, on-demand enterprise applications
- 5 years of experience:
- Leading Greenfield solutions and data sourcing/integration from scratch
- Collaborating with Infosec, Infrastructure & Operations teams to define integration best practices
- Identifying and managing IT risk and technical debt
- 7 years of experience delivering self-serve solutions using on-prem and cloud platforms
- Experience splitting time between leading design/implementation and hands-on development
