Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in San Francisco, CA. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Employ Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Collaborate with the design team for new application features
• Identify and fix application bottlenecks
• Maintain the core code
• Update applications published on the App Store
• Design, build and maintain next generation android mobile applications
• Ensure enterprise-grade performance of the application to specifications
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
• Maintain the code and atomization of the application
• Design and implement application updates
• Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications
• Develop high-end mobile applications for various internal business customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Master's in software engineering
• Android Engineer with 5-7 years of experience
• 5 years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java
• Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium
• Very good exposure to using AI tools like CoPilot and others
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera API's, etc.
• Kotlin/JAVA experience to design, build, deploy and maintain the next generation of mobile applications

Desired skills:

• Experience with continuous integration and Unit tests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Pay Range: $61.60-$69.60
