AI Linguist - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI Linguist for a hybrid position with a Major Professional Network located in Mountain View, CA. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. This position requires being onsite 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday).

We are seeking AI Linguists to join a diverse and interdisciplinary team to focus on AI quality, evaluation, and annotation and to contribute with their expertise to the annotation/human judgment pipeline development that is at the foundation of the AI model development and improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute on solutions for AI quality, evaluation, and annotation
• Leverage Generative AI prompting, human input, hybrid approaches in the development of scalable and high-quality human judgment workflows
• Conduct data-driven analysis and provide linguistic insights for project development
• Be part of working groups that develop high-quality human judgment/annotation/evaluation pipelines
• Create documentation and guidelines for standard procedures of internal processes
• Research new methodologies for process and product improvement
• Maximize productivity, process efficiency and quality through streamlined workflows, process standardization, and documentation

Requirements:

• B.S./B.A Degree in Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, Linguistics or a related field
• 2 years relevant industry experience
• 2 years experience with large-scale, end-to-end human judgment flows and tools for the training/evaluation of AI models
• 2 years experience to breakdown linguistic data requirements into concise, clear instructions and designs
• 1 years experience programming in Python or any other scripting language

Desired skills:

• MS or Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, Linguistics or a related field
• Willingness to learn technical concepts and new tools and a keen interest in technology
• Experience with human judgment projects and flows
• Experience with complex and scalable data annotations and evaluations
• Experience with programming languages in data annotation space
• Excellent comprehension and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work Pacific Standard Time business hours (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM PST)
• Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking skills
• Strong communication skills

Pay range: $48.65 - $57.12 per hour
