Responsibilities
Join the Genesis team as the Vice President of Clinical Operations, where you will play a key role in our achievement of Clinical Excellence goals. In this senior nurse executive position, you will develop, implement and evaluate clinical initiatives by integrating evidence-based clinical practice standards and customer service standards as a means to validate outcomes. You will also ensure that nursing center practice complies with state nurse practice acts, all applicable regulations, and that nurses meet state and Genesis standards of practice.
Reports to Senior Vice President Clinical Operations and provides overall clinical leadership within an assigned geographic area.
Direct one or more Division teams to ensure high quality care delivery, zero harm and promote a culture of compassion.
Equip nursing centers with the capabilities to develop and implement quality improvement programs that identify and evaluate process and positive outcome standards as a means to measure and evaluate care and customer service.
Provide oversight for the orientation, training, education and supervision of members of the Clinical Operation team that support nursing centers.
Collaborate with the Business Development, Population Health, and Clinical Education teams on strategic planning to ensure clinical programs meet standards and criteria for our internal and external partners.

Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with a license as a Registered Nurse.
- A Master's Degree or current enrollment in a Master's Program is required.
- Must have at least 5 years' experience in Gerontology nursing, preferably as a Director of Nursing.
- Must have at least 5 years leadership and supervisory experience.
