Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Registered Nurse position located in Albuquerque, NM at Bear Canyon Rehabilitation Center. The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality nursing care, evaluate patient needs, and implement individualized care plans. Responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, administering medications, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care. The role also involves educating patients and families about health management and promoting a positive care experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in patient care, nursing assessments, and case management
- Expertise in medication administration and understanding of medical equipment use
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a clinical setting, demonstrate attention to detail, and ensure accurate documentation
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or eligibility for reciprocity
- CPR certification and basic life support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control protocols
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or related healthcare setting is preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but not required
