What You Will Do
Oversee and manage all Genesis regional activities for designated region(s) regarding sales performance, product distribution, dealer development, parts, service, training, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for both strategic and tactical overall direction of region.

- Establish overall regional strategic direction.
- Establish regional priorities and objectives.
- Develop plans and strategies to attain regularly assigned objectives.
- Coordinate and implement all national programs on a regional basis.
- Foster strong dealer relations in region, including dealer development.
- Ensure Dealers facilities are at, or above standards set by GMNA.
- Responsible for development and monitoring of regional budget.
- Oversee regional advertising and marketing efforts.
- Attainment of regional CSI (HPI, HSI) objectives and develop/monitor strategies to improve customer loyalty processes and customer experience.
- Work with the Genesis Retail Advisory Board.
- Responsible for employee development and management of direct reports including regional coordination with HR on growth of personnel, annual performance evaluations, development of succession plans, performance management as well as training, coaching and direction to ensure employees are meeting requirements of position, and development for future GMA opportunities.
- The Genesis General Manager position has responsibility for all personnel, budget, and dealer issues.
- High school graduate preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Fifteen or more years of relevant automotive experience required.
- Prior dealer contact experience as at regional level desired.
- National headquarters experience recommended.
- Seven to ten years of remote team and staff supervisory experience desired.
- Ten plus years of wholesale experience desired.
- Experienced in Dealer Network and Planning.
- Luxury wholesale and/or retail experience required.
- Strong management and analytical skills coupled with progressive background in Dealer contact experience.
- Must be comfortable in conversing with retailers and employees from all backgrounds of the automotive business.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Superb communication (written, oral presentation) skills.
- Proven Leadership capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Automotive Retail/Wholesale Sales, Service & Parts operations.
- Excellent computer based skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or similar PC software with working knowledge of data manipulation/management.
- Customer satisfaction champion.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.

- Compensation Range: $215,000.00 - $265,000.00 annual base salary
