Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role requires expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, along with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies.
  • Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide acute pain management and perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and spinal taps as needed.
  • Manage chronic conditions through ongoing patient education, monitoring, and support.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively (Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner).
  • Engage in telehealth services to enhance patient access to care.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification with an active state license.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or urgent care preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical office procedures and familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10).
  • Knowledge of specialized areas such as gastroenterology, geriatrics, pediatrics, or infectious disease care is advantageous.
  • Previous experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $107,789.03 - $129,810.45 per year

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
