SIPS Specialist 2 - Supplier Information and Process Solutions

Duration: 1 year

This position is responsible for supporting the Supplier Information and Process Solutions (SIPS) team with vetting, establishing and maintaining the 60k supplier master database in support of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

Responsibilities include processing requests to add, change, or inactivate suppliers based on established policies and procedures. This is a fast-paced, high volume transactional role which requires the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information. This position interacts with both internal and external customers and must adhere to compliance, auditing controls, and guidelines. Potential candidate must be a self-starter, work independently, and be flexible with changes in responsibility to meet the needs of the team.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-10 years’ related work experience
• Excellent and extensive analytical and organizational skills
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Attention to detail
•Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong time management abilities
• Problem solving skills
• Reliable to be onsite in the office in downtown Birmingham during normal scheduled work hours
